Ihobe has convened its twelfth Supplier Forum, the yearly meeting that
the Basque Government's Environmental Management Company holds with its main suppliers.
The forum seeks to pass on the general lines of its management plan, along with
the main projects for the current year, to meet the environmental targets
established by the Basque Government's Department for the Environment, Land
Planning, Agriculture and Fisheries, headed by Pilar Unzalu.
The forum will kick off with a plenary session when the Ihobe General
Manager, Fernando Barrenechea, will set out the company’s priorities and goals
for 2012. After a short break, three work groups will be set up to
discuss the competitiveness of the environmental knowledge sector, how to
maximise value for the Ihobe operating clients, and the relationship with the
partners of this public company.
In 2011, around a hundred supplier companies attended this information
session when the delegates had the opportunity to express their demands and
suggestions.
